Now Pre-Registering Students for the 2010-11 School Year
Melissa's Private Preschool will again be offering a 2-day per week Preschool Class for 3 year old children for the upcoming 2010-11 school year. Children must be at least 3 years old by June 1, 2010 and fully potty trained to attend the younger class. In addition to the Preschool Class, we will be offering two separate Pre-Kindergarten Classes for 4 year-old children. Our 2-day per week Pre-K Class will be held on Tuesday and Thursday in the morning; and a 4-day per week Pre-K Class will be held in the afternoons on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
At Melissa's Private Preschool students are taught the fundamentals of Reading, Writing and Arithmetic to help better prepare them for Kindergarten and beyond. Students learn these subjects as well as basic introductions to Computers, Science, Geography, History, Creative Arts and Music through a structured curriculum over the course of a 9-month school year.
Our Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten programs include a comprehensive curriculum used as a framework for organizing hands-on learning experiences. Thematic units integrate lessons and knowledge across subjects while promoting the academic, social, emotional, physical and creative needs of each student.

Additional Enrollment Information
Registration Fees A non-refundable $65.00 registration fee is required for each student enrolling in the Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten programs. This fee reserves your child's space until the start of school in September and covers basic supplies and snacks throughout the year. It is due in full at the time of registration.
To be considered for enrollment you must first pre-register your child. After you have pre-registered you will receive an enrollment packet and an appointment to complete the student registration process. Student registrations will be accepted by appointment only.

CLASS AVAILABILITY (2009-10) (1) opening is available in our Afternoon class for the current 2009-10 school year.
Age: Must be 4 years old by 9-1-09 Cost: $150.00 per month Days: Monday through Thursday Time: 1:00 P.M. - 3:00 P.M.
The Afternoon Class has twice the work load of the introductory class and in addition to the regular curriculum children will also learn about time, money and measurement. Children will be expected to sit at their desk for 15-20 minutes at a time while receiving instructions and completing their curriculum worksheets.
